7.1 The SCIO will promote, advance and further its Charitable purposes in Clause 7.3 by: 7.1.1 promoting and protecting the health and well-being of service personnel and veterans of the British Armed Forces that have been diagnosed with cancer and their families and wider support network through the provision of peer support, an information hub and respite provision and such other services and facilities as the Charity Trustees may decide from time to time. 7.2 For the purposes of the 2005 Act the following charitable purposes are (i) particularly relevant and (ii) are the charitable purposes identified as applicable from section 7 of the 2005 Act:- 7.2.1 the advancement of health. and 7.2.2 the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 7.3 For the purposes of the Taxes Acts and the provisions set out in clauses 7.1 to 7.2 shall be read together to ensure the purposes of the SCIO are compliant with the Taxes Acts.
