The purposes of the charity are: a) To promote the amateur sport of mountain biking primarily but not exclusively in the Cave Hill Country Park and surrounding area as an important and exciting outdoor activity that offers enhanced health and wellbeing, physical and social benefits through active participation and engagement in the activity of trail building and riding a mountain bike on natural trails; b) To provide, for everyone, outdoor physical and mental exertion through the maintenance and management of a sustainable network of natural mountain bike trails for suitable for all abilities in the Cave Hill Country Park and surrounding area by: I. Working in joint partnership with Belfast City Council to organise volunteer trail building and trail maintenance work; II. Offering the wider community coaching and development opportunities in mountain biking; and III. Promoting the mental and physical benefits of mountain biking within the local community and developing partnerships with other community based organisations. The advancement of amateur sport
