To encourage study of the needs and problems of families and children To stimulate and educate the public interest in this and other related educational and social fields To encourage the formation, maintenance and development of playgroups, parent and toddler groups, under 5 groups, full day care and education schemes and to encourage appropriate parental involvement within these aforementioned groups including the services of home-visiting support and self help groups.
