4. The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Cairnbaan, defined as the postcode areas of PA31 8BA, 8SQ, 8SJ, 8UP, 8UE, 8UH, 8UF, 8SX and 8SP (the Community), with the following purposes (the Purposes): 4.1 The advancement of citizenship and economically sustainable development. 4.2 The advancement of arts, heritage, culture and science. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational facilities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.4 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement including the education of the community about its environment, culture and/or history. 4.5 The relief of those in need. 4.6 The saving of lives by the provision and maintenance of the defibrillator and associated training. the promotion of water safety and similar activities.
