The Organisation's main purpose is consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development. The Organisation's Purposes are: To build a strong volunteer programme for the Community, based around a welcoming community hub and cafe that provides a safe space to connect and access support. Reducing food waste by collecting surplus produce from local supermarkets and hosting a community larder that is available to all. Improving community resilience and sustainability by hosting a 'Library of Things' which enables the Community to access safe, modern tools, appliances and leisure goods. Providing signposts to local health and wellbeing services available in our community. Embedding high environmental standards and biosphere principles across all project activities to support a resilient, sustainable community.
