3.1 To provide a community facility for all ages with specific emphasis on provision of support and guidance to children, young people and families and in furtherance thereof. (a) to reflect the Christian ethos of the YMCA through genuine love of and service to those in need. (b) to engage, train and support volunteers. (c) to develop activities which stimulate and challenge all its members/users in an environment that enables them to take responsibility, find a sense of achievement and help them reach their fullest potential in body, mind and spirit. (d) to involve all members in care and work of the Association. and (e) to develop and implement policies in support of the objects set out in articles 3.1(a), 3.1(b), 3.1(c) and 3.1(d) above.
