4.1 To relieve poverty for families with children (where such children are under the age of 18) residing within the local authority areas of North, South and East Ayrshire. 4.2 The organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by the creation and development of programmes of classes and support groups for parents/guardians with suitably qualified professionals in the fields of parenting skills, child play and learning.
