(a) to promote, support and out carry out research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, cure and effects of bowel cancer and other lower gastrointestinal conditions (together 'Bowel Cancer') for the benefit of the public. (b) to provide support, assistance and advice to people affected by Bowel Cancer and or to their carers and families and other interested persons. (c) to advance the education of the public and health and social care professionals on the issues relating to Bowel Cancer. (d) to promote and influence effective care and support for people affected by Bowel Cancer and the involvement of their carers, families and friends in their support. and (e) the furtherance of such other objects and purposes in the United Kingdom as are exclusively charitable according to English law and in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005
