4 The Trust's purposes are in relation to sport, and primarily the sports of Curling and Skating ('Ice Rink Sports'), and are: 4.1 provide or assist in the provision of recreational facilities, or to organise or assist in the organisation of the recreational facilities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the public generally. 4.2 to encourage and actively promote community and public participation in Ice Rink Sports, through the provision of training, coaching and education not only for those participating in but also the public generally about sport generally and Ice Rink Sports in particular and in the health and fitness benefits of participating.
