The organisation’s purposes are: a. The promotion of equality and diversity (under section 7(2)(l) of the 2005 Act), by: i. Supporting, integrating, and empowering healthcare professionals (including nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, and social care staff) of Black and ethnic minority backgrounds across Scotland. ii. Fostering an inclusive healthcare workforce through peer mentorship, career guidance, and anti-discrimination support. b. The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, financial hardship, or other disadvantage (under section 7(2)(n) of the 2005 Act), by: i. Assisting internationally educated healthcare professionals, alongside their spouses and immediate families living in Scotland, who are experiencing social isolation, workplace stress, cultural adjustment barriers, or socio-economic hardship. ii. Providing educational workshops, relational wellbeing sessions, and peer-led support forums to alleviate mental health strains and aid successful community integration.
