The provision of food, clothing, heat and light, holiday accommodation, medical attention and other social services for needy residents of Beith who have attained the age of 65 years or over, (in the case of females 60 years of age or over), and also the provision, in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupations for all residents of the Town of Beith who have attained the age of 65/60 or over, so that their conditions of life might be improved.
