Our Vision is to provide a safe and welcoming environment, practical support and opportunities, to improve the quality of life for children, young people and families in and around Easterhouse The organisation’s purposes are: The provision of recreational activities by organising and running weekly arts, play and youth groups which encourage, support & create space for people to be empowered to act on their ideas, issues and interests for the advancement of community development in Easterhouse. The prevention of poverty by providing holiday hunger programmes ensuring children and young people continue to have enough to eat during school holidays, and by breaking down potential barriers in participation at leisure, arts and activity groups (financial hardship, disability, ill-health or other disadvantage) The advancement of education for children and young people through providing training opportunities and SQA Award programmes, and by creating volunteering opportunities for young people, promoting social responsibility and active citizenship.
