4.2 The SCIO’s main purpose is consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development. The SCIO’s Purposes are: 4.2.1. the advancement of citizenship and community development within the Community. 4.2.2 the advancement of environmental protection and improvement within the Community. and 4.2.3 the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.
