The Company is the successor of the unincorporated charity known as Bangor Drama Club and will take over the assets and liabilities of the said unincorporated charity which can legally be vested in the Company, including property vested in the corporate body The Trustees of Bangor Drama Club. The Company’s objects (“Objects”) are specifically restricted to the following: (a) to educate and promote public participation in and appreciation of the arts, and more particularly (but not limited to) the performing arts of theatre and drama, and to provide workshops in theatre and drama, theatrical productions and public performances and; (b) to manage a theatre in Bangor, County Down, which provides facilities for education, recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the public at large.
