BTDA is established for the advancement of community development and active citizenship for the public benefit of the inhabitants of the Ballykeel ward (hereinafter referred to as ‘the area of benefit’) by the following means: 2.1.1 By providing community led services which include offering a range of programs and training opportunities, including youth and older people’s programs, employability programs etc. All programs are delivered to improve the health and wellbeing, and develop the capacity of those residents within the Ballykeel area, so lives will be improved. All this is completed without regard to age, gender, ability, disability, ethnic identity, nationality or religion. 2.1.2 By providing opportunities to improve education and knowledge by working with local people to enhance their skills through our job clubs and community based learning which provides more opportunities for employment.
