(a) To promote education generally and in particular the education of boys and girls and for that purpose to establish, acquire, purchase, erect, lease, develop, equip, furnish, maintain and administer a School or Schools, at such place or places, within Scotland or elsewhere in the United Kingdom as shall from time to time be determined, and in particular without prejudice to the said generality to carry on a Boarding or Boarding and Day School for Boys and Girls, Preparatory or otherwise. (b) To equip, furnish, maintain, administer and conduct Ardvreck School as a Boarding or Boarding and Day School for Boys and Girls, Preparatory or otherwise.
