(a) The relief of poverty among residents living within the boundaries Partick and Thornwood, G11 postcode area ('the Operating Area') (b) To promote the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupations of the residents of the Operating Area in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life. (c) To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area, particularly among young people and the unemployed. (d) To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the Operating Area in obtaining paid employment. (e) To promote, establish and operate other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community within the Operating Area.
