4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 The support of those disadvantaged by disability by: 4.1.1 enabling Blind persons to achieve the maximum degree of independence, a good physical and emotional adjustment to their disability and to compensate them, where appropriate, by financial and social support. and 4.1.2 ensuring that Blind and Partially Sighted persons live the fullest possible life compatible with their personality, desires and capacity. and 4.1.3 offering advice and support to those experiencing sight difficulties prior to registration as Blind or Partially Sighted, and to their carers.
