The organisation's purposes are: (a) the advancement of education for residents within the area of benefit. (b) the advancement of community development for residents within the area of benefit. (c ) the advancement of environmental protection or improvement within the area of benefit and. (d) the distribution of any surplus funds held by the organisation for any of the preceding purposes within the area of benefit and Scotland generally.
