African Women Against Domestic Violence

1. To relieve the needs of women who are victims of domestic violence, particularly but not exclusively immigrant women from less developed countries, by providing: - Advice, support, and advocacy - Access to safe spaces and signposting to specialist services - Educational workshops to raise awareness of domestic violence and women’s rights - Community outreach to promote equality and prevent abuse 2. To advance education among women and communities about the effects of domestic violence and the importance of healthy relationships. 3. To promote equality and diversity by working to eliminate discrimination against women, ensuring that women from all backgrounds have equal access to protection, justice, and opportunities.
