About African Scots Ethnic Minority (ASEM)
(a) To advance education by promoting awareness and understanding of African and ethnic minority cultures within Scotland. (b) To promote racial harmony and equality by fostering mutual respect, inclusion, and community cohesion among diverse groups. (c) To relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage, particularly within ethnic minority communities. (d) To advance citizenship and community development by supporting volunteering, social inclusion, and active participation in civic life. (e) To promote the arts, heritage, and culture by organising inclusive cultural events and educational activities accessible to the wider public.
