The organisation's purposes are: (a) advancing education by raising awareness and educating the public about addictive eating and recovery from addictive eating. (b) the relief of those in need by reason of ill-health relating to addictive eating patterns. (c) advancement of health by assisting addictive eaters to achieve sobriety and to stay sober, enabling them to overcome destructive behaviours around food
