Working in the North West of England, the organisations objects are to promote community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Area. The aim is to increase and sustain participation in and widen access to sport and physical activity in the Area, particularly in disadvantaged communities and strategic groups where being sedentary is the dominant behaviour.
