2. The association's objects are: The advancement of the Christian religion, advancement of education and the relief of poverty and distress in the city of Aberdeen and the north-east of Scotland, the rest of the United Kingdom and overseas. and in furtherance of this by. a) Bringing Christians of all denominations together in fellowship to praise and worship God. b) Promoting opportunities for the study of the word of God and of other educational opportunities. c) Giving witness to the Lord by the giving of alms to the poor and needy.
