The purposes of the charity (‘the purposes’) are: The relief of those in need, suffering or distress as a result of childhood cancer, and the advancement of health amongst those so impacted, through any exclusively charitable means and, in particular, but not exclusively, through the provision of: financial assistance essential items, equipment or goods practical help, services or facilities; to the beneficiaries, provided such support is charitable in nature. ‘The beneficiaries’ will include those who: have received a diagnosis of childhood cancer, are undergoing or have undergone treatment, are living with the long-term effects of childhood cancer, the families and carers of those listed above, or are bereaved as a result of childhood cancer. To provide such other charitable support and assistance to children affected by cancer and their families and carers as the Trustees may from time to time determine, provided always that such support falls within purposes recognised as charitable under the law of Northern Ireland.
