The aim of guiding is to promote the instruction of girls in the principles of loyalty and good citizenship. Girls are encouraged to learn by doing. The girlguiding programme is about acquiring skills for life and enabling young girls and woman to meet challenges and actively contribute to society. The balance of the programme is achieved through undertaking a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, residential experiences and community projects.
