About Youth Opportunities Unlimited
1. To help young people who are unemployed not in school or training disadvantaged or disabled develop skills and search techniques to enable them to prepare for seek secure and maintain full-time part-time and casual work from all areas of employment by providing job training and formal and informal educational opportunities as they arise through both in-house programing social enterprises and connections with community partners. 2. To help young people who are impacted by poverty housing instability poor overall health/welness and those in transition from government care develop skills and techniques to enable them to prepare for seek and maintain stable housing income and health through both in-house programming and connections with community partners 3. To seek and maintain a registry of employment housing financial support and health care opportunities and to provide information to young people on all options available to them. These options shall include education social services training and retraining employment opportunities health care services housing support and/or connection with a community partner expert in addressing the particular need(s) of the young person. 4. To further relieve and poverty housing instability and transition from government care by -providing food and other basic supplies -establishing operating and maintaining temporary shelters for the homeless -providing counselling (group or individual) and other similar programs.
