Youth Art Connection

Yalp: the youth art leadership program teaches youth from marginalized backgrounds to explore ideas around their identity. Their community and social issues they care about. Artpreneurs: a program yac runs around nova scotia where youth workers prefessional artists and business coaches teach youth the basics of entrepreneurship and help them turn their creative passions into business plans and career plans. Artpreneurs-in-a-box-toolkit: yac has developed a multi-media curriculum to accompany the program which will be a resource for oversee youth to use with support of adults or by themselves. Artpreneur emerging artist: yac teaches marginalized youth who have begun to establish themselves as atrists the necessary skills to grow and transfer their creative skills into next steps for careers and life long learning.
