York hills centre for children yout and families provides a spectrum of high quality mental health services to children and youth ages 0-18 years and their families who reside in the regional municipality of york. Our assessment and treatment services include a range of dedicated professional staff that are delivering individual family and group counselling community and in-school clinical supports residential services day treatment services alternative dispute resolution family mediation etc. The richmond hill leased site houses our community consultation and assessment service (ccaas) for children and youth (ages 0-18 years) and their families across ontario. This multi-disciplinary team includes psychology psychiatry speech language pathology occupational therapy and family systems framework. The site also hosts our alternative dispute resolution (adr) service that helps families work together with five children's aid societies to resolve child protection disputes and find solutions to problems concerning the care and well being of children and youth in york region durham kawartha haliburton cobourg and simcoe county. The location also hosts our family mediation and information services. There is also drop-down office space for out in-school clinical workers (compass) and community outreach service which offers mental health education workshops in local schools including group sessions
