Ymca of Greater Toronto

The YMCA of Greater Toronto is a charity that ignites the potential in people helping them grow lead and give back to their communities. For more than 170 years we’ve been tackling the most critical health and social issues in our region. Today we’re striving to boost well-being and promote equity across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) through our programs including child care employment services education and training programs immigrant services youth leadership development outreach and intervention health and fitness camps and outdoor education and volunteer development. In 2023-2024 the YMCA of Greater Toronto served 816 868 participants across more than 500 locations across the Toronto Durham Peel York and Halton and Dufferin County regions. Our work is made possible thanks to 1 842 donors 2 636 volunteers and 6 593 full- and part-time staff.
