YMCA Alberta Regional Council

The mission of the regional council of young men's christian associations of alberta is to foster growth and development of local ymcas throughout alberta by providing leadership development programs advocating for social policies which positively impact communities and the not-for-profit and charitable sector and supporting program development delivery and stability locally nationally and internationally. The types of programs carried out during the fiscal year may include: social leadership training multi-cultural instructor certification lifestyle programs youth service ymca association development and leadership training. The regional council of young men's christian associations of alberta participates in the ongoing partnership with the national council of ymca bogota columbia facilitating support through sponsorship by the local ymcas located in western canada.
