Yellowknife Historical Society

The mandate of the society is to preserve the history of yellowknife and the northwest territories; to promote the development of sites and exhibits that will further the understanding and appreciation this history including mining exploration and geology in nwt while contributing to the tourism and economic potential of the north. A new museum in yellowknife was opened to the public in march 2024.
