To serve as a resource centre by collecting and preserving cultural elements from the past and promoting the practice of dene culture especially amoung youth to ensure the culture of the dene thrives and serves future generations while protecting the culture from harmful influences of modern society. The institute will: continue traditional knowledge research and documentation support aboriginal languages act as a library and archive provide cultural education foster arts & crafts strengthen relationship with communities.
