Xaxe tenew continues working relationships with makeway foundation. We continue to work with '...' assistant professor of ubc's indigenous law program celanenel: a field course in the re-emergence of wsanec law in a project renamed to infrastructure beyond extractivism. In may 2024 xaxe tenew began fundraising for rematriate stewardship project to be able to purchase land to house local indigenous matriarch stewards to care for their ancestral homelands. This fundraiser is focusing on land within the saanich peninsula to start. Rematriate stewardship project has been involved with. We've received funds to build up capacity within our organization for communications and graphics design for event promotion.
