About World Spine Care Canada
A) providing and operating spinal care clinics in the nation of dominican republic and botswana. B) developing and promoting spinal health care to the public of dominican republic and botswana by educating and instructing the public on how to prevent spinal related disease/illness via public awareness campaigns and informative brochure distribution. C) developing effective clinical tools to deliver improved spinal care to the dominican republic and botswana. A) wscc conducts and publishes research in order to develop effective clinical tools to treat back pain. It collaborates with the global spine care initiative (gsci) the research branch of world spine care and received a two-year grant from health canada substance use and addictions program (hc-suap) during 2022 for research in an indigenous community in northern manitoba. A world spine care canada clinic was opened in cross lake northern manitoba on october 5 2023 as part of this research project. The grant from hc-suap was complete on march 31 2024. Funding for 2024-2025 was received from the canadian chiropractic research foundation (ccrf) and the canadian chiropractic association (cca) to support the clinic and the research project. Three research papers have been submitted to refereed journals and accepted and are now in print. One more is in the final stages before submission.
