Working in Support of Equality (Manitoba) Inc.

Wise manitoba and all its programs are managed and provided by volunteers. We are building resources to provide for program coordination training and development. We were able to present our no means no workshops in-person this school year after the past few years done by zoom due to covid. Twenty-two new volunteer facilitatorswith a great diversity of experiences and a passionate interest in the program were trained over two days. Forty-two workshops were presented in three schools with approximately 1000 students in grades 5 6 7 8 9 11 and 12 attending the workshops. We developed a partnership with the university of manitoba faculty of education and provided sessions to their university students. We have been invited to provide sessions to the faculty again next year.
