Word of Life Outreach

We are an evangelical christian church providing a house of worship with services on sundays and during the week. We have programs for all ages and often host special ladies meetings and/or worship seminars. Our services are also available on you tube. Ministry volunteers also conduct hospital & shut-in visitation with pastoral encouragement & prayer. In previous years staff & volunteers conducted some foreign missions to haiti; more recently our missions effort has been done via gifts to canadian missions organizations that are 'qualified donees'. As a church we also provide food & clothing for the poor via our clothing centre- located in our church in lake st. Peter. During 2024 over 500 individuals received free food from our food bank which is open each week and staffed by many volunteers. Our clothing outreach (adjacent to the food bank) offers very low cost items (clothing & furniture) for the many individuals that come to our centre. Our total volunteer hours would number into the thousands each year as many individuals assist with the food bank and clothing outreach.
