Woodland Cultural Centre

The woosland cultural center prserves promotes and educates to the public the history language and cultures of indigenous people particulary those of the eatern woodland area we have a museum and provide educational tours and public programming we also have ar search library and language department that provide resource material . Hosted a harvest festival that included a coffee house with musical performances workshops and a community social. Featured diverse art exhibition film screening and artist panel talks hosted the annual smoke dance celebration conducted workshop that taught traditional methods of hide tanning and lying corn. Collaboration on bi- montly socials featuring singers dancers and drummers acquired significant cayuga language collection and materials. Developed curricilum-alighed materials and innovative educationa resouces included six new educational kits.
