We support the advancement of education of the public concerning human and civil rights and the significance interpretation and enforcement of the constitution of canada and in particular the canadian charter of rights and freedom. We advance the work of organizations including leaf (women's legal education and action fund inc.) to fund research education and legal expertise concerning the human and civil rights of women and others including those suffering discrimination on the basis of religion race sex disability marital status sexual orientation pregnancy or other status or similar factors.
