Womanact

WomanACT is a charitable organization that provides coordination planning and community mobilization to address and ultimately end violence against women. Our membership consists of both organizations and individuals dedicated to achieving system change in the fight against gender-based violence. Through collaborative efforts we work to eradicate gender-based violence by focusing on research education and community engagement. As a coordinating body WomanACT plays a critical role in identifying gaps in services supporting policy development and facilitating pilot projects. We undertake research and actions that drive institutional and systemic change ensuring a more responsive and effective approach to preventing and addressing gender-based violence.
