Wish Drop-In Centre Society

Wish drop-in centre society is the largest sex worker support organization in canada and serves women and gender-diverse people involved in vancouver's street-based sex trade. Wish operates in vancouver's downtown eastside providing low-barrier peer-driven wraparound services including: the wish drop-in centre (open 18 hours per day 7 days per week through which participants access a range of critical supports); canada's first-ever 24/7 emergency shelter for street-based sex workers; wish's mobile access project (map) van that provides critical outreach services to street-based sex workers in the dtes and surrounding neighbourhoods day and night; and the wish outdoor safe respite which also houses wish's harm reduction program. Additionally wish runs vital capacity-buildling programs that support street-based sex working women and gender-diverse people to build stability in their lives through healing education skill-building and employment opportunities. These programs are the wish inreach program indigenous health and safety program music therapy program learning centre and supportive employment program.
