Willow Park Charity Golf Classic Foundation

The willow park charity golf classic foundation (the 'wpcc') is a non-profit organization with a goal of raising charitable donations by hosting an annual golf tournament (the 'classic'). Every year a calgary-area charity is selected to be the beneficiary of the proceeds from the classic. The classic is a three-day golf tournament held in mid-july. Revenue sources are derived from player registration fees cash donations proceeds from both live & silent auction items and a percentage of paramutual activities. Expenses of the wpcc include but are not limited to food & beverage media & advertising player prizes signage & printing gratuities and auction expenses. This year the recipient was pacific assistance dogs society. They received $573 620. The wpcc is also affiliated with the calgary foundations' collaborative philanthropy program.
