Trottier Foundation: We hired Climate Caucus to develop a national network of locally elected representatives covering all provinces and territories and to host educational workshops for them to connect learn about and ultimately deploy climate action and sustainable community planning and development practices and policies in their communities. Catherine Donnelly Foundation: We hired Climate Caucus to undertake research to better understand barriers to engage with marginalized populations in local government climate planning and to develop a detailed educational materials for local elected officials to more effectively engage with these groups. Vancouver Foundation: We hired WCS Engagement + Planning to assess the sustainable food systems work carried out by Squamish Climate Action Network and to provide recommendations on how to increase their impact through educational programs. Whole Cities Foundation: We hired Squamish Climate Action Network to develop new community gardens for delivering expanded educational programs in Squamish. Public Voices (Small Change Fund): We hired Climate Caucus to develop and deliver educational materials to senior government staff to support funding for local government climate action initiatives.
