Whispering River Music

(a) operating one or more orchestras and choirs to provide artistic performances in public concerts arts festivals and other arts events in various venues; (b) educating people of all ages in the musical arts through educational instruction programs workshops and community events; (c) encouraging and sponsoring performances of musical works; (d) encouraging and commissioning the composition of musical works by Canadian composers and to provide opportunities for the performance of such works; (e) operating music and arts camps; (f) organizing and presenting musical festivals concerts events and other performances; and (g) giving scholarships and bursaries for charitable and/or educational purposes in accordance with these purposes.
