Westminster United Church

We donated funds to three local food banks; belleville stirling and trenton. We donated funds to the christmas share and the food for learning programs. We made an agreement with a local thrift store that items donated by congregation members would be weighed; $0.20 per pound for most items and $0.10 per pound for books the value of the weight was paid to the church in funds. These funds were then donated to two local charities; adopt-a-child and the hastings prince edward learning foundation no tax receipt was issued for these funds to the thrift store.
