West Vancouver Fire Service Museum and Archives Society

Our mandate is to obtain restore and save west van. Fire apparatus this work is ongoing as we are collecting all the time. All the apparatus is kept in top working order and requires a lot of maintenance. There has been a lot of new archival material lately ( a volunteer firefighter/collector died and left volumes of material to the museum). In 2021 we started our most ambitious endeavor to date the complete restoration of one of west van';s trucks a 1954 thibault fire truck. This projects while not new will be our main project awa from our basic mandate for several years to come
