West Haven United Church Camp Inc. provides a summer camping experience for children aged 7-18 with the assistance of paid and volunteer workers. Religious social environmental cultural and recreational aspects highlight the summer program. All workers attend a weekend hands-on orientation of leadership and supervisory training to carry out the regulatory duties to ensure a safe and fun summer experience for all. Participants come from diverse backgrounds in NL. The board endeavors to make the camping experience available to all children no matter what their financial restraints are.
