West Coast Leaf Association

West Coast LEAF uses four key program strategies: (1) public legal education and information; (2) research; (3) community engagement; and (4) advocacy in and outside of court. We apply these strategies across our work within six priority areas: access to healthcare; access to justice; economic security; freedom from gender-based violence; justice for those who are criminalized; and child and family wellbeing. Using strategies such as workshops research reports community outreach and participation in court cases we work to achieve equality for women and all people who experience gender-based discrimination in BC.
