West Carleton Food Access Centre

We operate as the community food bank delivering nourishing and healthy food to the best of our ability. We work hand in hand with our community to support it in times of need. We also operate an annual Christmas Basket / Angel Tree campaign for the area of West Carleton as well as ensuring the families we support have Easter and Thanksgiving turkeys with trimmings. We are 100% volunteer run. The food bank provides a minimum of five days of food once a month. We try to provide as much fresh food as possible from purchases donations from local farmers and seasonally grown vegetables from a community garden. We also try to accommodate special dietary requirements. Our relationships continue to grow with food rescue organizations so that we can provide supplementary food and non food items to our clients for example toiletries and cleaning products.
