Provide a shelter and counselling to abused women and their children by: 1. Providing appropriate referrals to community agencies and liaison with agencies; 2. Crisis prevention by telephone for non-resident clients; 3. On-the-job training for nurses child-care workers and social services students; 4. Provide a follow-up program assisting women and children in their transition to independent living; 5. Provide affordable housing and housing for the homeless.
